Muscles for Charity ........... Simple concept, internationally successful

Muscles volunteers spent a day at the races in September, helping children with special needs. The race course at Newbury provided the backdrop and the five volunteers were joined by a members of the Dingley Play and Therapy Group (based at the Racecourse) to paint a series of wooden sheds plus the outside wall of the permanent play area and clear out an extensive and blocked drain system. Excellent hospitality, good fun and a real sense of contributing to the therapy required by special needs children underlined a wonderful day. Bernie Morgan's specially manufactured wooden bear logo now takes pride of place at the entrance to the play area. |
