Muscles for Charity ........... Simple concept, internationally successful

26th/28th MARCH – FELIXSTOWE Rain and cold winds did not deter Muscles for Charity volunteers over a two day period at Felixstowe. Clearing an overgrown pond, bamboo (up to five metres tall), pathways and a hillside required over 115 voluntary hours and included two members from the Belgian Muscles team. The result prompted the following response by the recipient, Louise - "Hello all the wonderful Muscles Team. I cannot begin to thank you for the amazing transformation of the pond area at Coniston. When I saw the" finished article" I was speechless and as you know, that is quite unusual! I t was wonderful to be with such hardworking and enthusiastic people. I am sorry I wasn't there to say goodbye on Saturday. The charity we have chosen is a local one called "Hand in Hand" which helps the deaf and blind people in Felixstowe. Once again. THANK YOU"
